Forklifts
Accredited forklift training for operators on a wide range of lift trucks. All our training courses meet the latest standards set by the ABA.
Training is available either at your Barnsley forklift training centre or alternatively at your site any where in the UK.
Various levels of experience covered. Novice, refresher, experienced and conversions.
Cranes
Training courses on a wide range of cranes, such as overhead cranes and lorry mounted cranes. Fully accredited and in line with the Safe Use of Cranes Approved Code of Practice.
This course is only available on a customers own premises and not at our training centre. Any individual customers will have to source their own site to be able to receive the training.
First Aid
Accredited and bespoke first aid training that meets your requirements. All our first aid courses comply with current Resus Council guidelines.
Wide range of courses available including Paediatric First Aid, Mini Medics, First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at work.
Training is available at our training centre in Barnsley or at your own location at any site in the UK.
Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid was introduced as part of the HSE regulations around First Aid risk assessments. This is vital to workplaces and individuals to improve mental wellbeing, mental health awareness and stress.
Courses are available accredited or bespoke and able to be delivered at our training centre in Barnsley. Alternatively, training can be delivered on any site within the UK.
Abrasive Wheel
Abrasive wheels are use in most construction industries and it is vital that you ensure your staff attend training in abrasive wheel awarness. This is ensure they’re aware of the Health and Safety issues surrounding Abrasive Wheels.
Training can be delivered at our training centre in Barnsley, on your own site or alternatively we have e-learning courses available. All classroom based courses are half a day in length.
Vehicle Banksman
Reversing vehicles, no matter if a lorry, car or a forklift can result in workplace accidents. If your workplace has blind corners, pedestrians, general traffic or history of accidents from vehicles. Then you may need to consider having a vehicle banksman present on your site.
Our course is available as an accredited or bespoke course in the classroom. Either at our training centre or your own site.
Working at Heights
Working at heights is one of the main reasons behind workplace accidents. Sadly this is down to lack of training and poor risk assessments. Therefore it is vital that anyone working at heights, receives the correct training.
Harness training is an additional add on to the course if needed. The course can be delivered on your site, by e-learning or in our classroom at our Barnsley training centre.
Fire Safety
Fire safety is vital for any workplace that has it’s own premises. This is to ensure that employees and fire wardens/marshalls, know about the hazards and their responsibilities.
Various e-learning courses are available for this course or classroom training. Courses can be accredited or non-accredited, depending on your own requirements.
Manual Handling
Manual Handling is used in most workplaces and is one of the leading reasons behind sickness in workplaces. This is usually down to poor training or supervision.
Our Manual Handling course is available as a classroom based course or alternatively can be completed as an e-learning course. All courses are accredited.
