MHE Services Ltd, will process your personal data, and special category data (if reasonable adjustments have been made), in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all regulatory requirements in accordance with our regulatory bodies

We will only process and store your data for the purpose of the delivery, assessment and award of the qualification or course you are undertaking and for no other purposes.

MHE Services Ltd, will not pass or sell on your information to any other person or body outside of the company or the awarding body/regulatory associated with your qualification/course.

We will undertake the following administrative activities in relation to the processing and transfer of your personal and special category data:

  1. We will collect your name, data of birth and email address to allow us to administrate the issuing of your qualification/course you have/are undertaking. We will also use your email address to contact you if any updates are made relevant to the training that you’ve received, such as a notification to inform expiry of qualification/course.

 

  1. Your gender and postcode may also be collected and processed if you request that your achievement is uploaded to your personal learning record or that you wish for your certificate posting to yourself.

 

  1. Selected qualifications/courses offer the ability to apply for a reasonable adjustment should you have a disability, learning need or medical condition that might affect your ability to undertake the qualification’s assessment. The data collected for this purpose is classed as special category data. MHE Services Ltd, will only collect and process this special category data when it is provided by you and for the purposes of recording the reasonable adjustment given. It will only be provided to the awarding body of your qualification/course.

 

  1. Personal and special category data that is collected by MHE Services Ltd, will be collected within paperwork and/or digital paperwork. The data is stored on our online secure administration system, and all records will be maintained/disposed of in line with MHE Services Ltd Data Protection Policy.

 

  1. When a certificate is issued, we’re usually required to securely transfer your personal data to the awarding body for them to be able to issue your certificate or to the MHE Services Ltd administration team. The data will be used for this purpose and for anonymised statistics requested by the regulatory bodies.

 

  1. MHE Services Ltd are required to respond to requests from Regulatory Bodies and by legal authority’s. If data is required to be transferred, it will be in accordance to our Data Protection policy.

 

  1. If you have not reached the age of 16, you may wish to discuss this privacy notice with your parent, guardian or carer.

How long we retain your data
